Peter Scariano was born and raised in Chicago. Loved, played, and dreamt baseball as a youngster along with his twin brother. His dreams led him down another path, but his love for the game and his desire to obtain his holy grail, the Wilson A2000, had never ceased. The quest continued.

After his playing days he became a teacher and coached various sports throughout his career. He retired from education after spending 46 years in the classroom teaching grades 5-8 and at the college level.

Peter is the father of 4, grandfather of 10 and now the great grandfather of 1. He and his wife JoAnne continue to watch Chicago Cubs games together. This is his second book
